Kevin Belligiere, Co-Founder
With more than 30 years of experience overseeing crisis management, security operations and administration for the largest hotel operator in New York City, Kevin has a proven ability to successfully manage safety and security programs, crisis management, risk management, fire and safety management, travel security, fire safety and planning and more. Over his career, he has built effective and invaluable relationships with local and federal agencies including the New York Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Secret Service and Homeland Security. Kevin has managed a staff of more than 100 security personnel across more than a dozen properties and brands including one of New York City’s largest hotels, the 1,750 room Sheraton New York. During his career he also led the organization’s first line of communication with law enforcement and provided counsel to regional security teams across the company.
Kevin has planned and executed security procedures for major events in NYC such as New Year’s Eve in Times Square hotels, The Clinton Global Initiative, The United Nations General Assembly and the Macy’s Day Parade. He has also been on threat assessment and crisis go teams for Starwood Hotels and Resorts deployed for national disasters and workplace violence situations.
Paul Frederick, Co-Founder
A 30 year veteran in hospitality safety and security, Paul had the good fortune of leading the Global Safety and Security organizations for both Hilton Worldwide and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
Paul oversaw and directed all security and safety responsibilities including crisis management, emergency management, environmental safety, travel security, physical security, workplace safety, fire safety and violence prevention to name a few.
Career accomplishments include deployment to New Orleans to evacuate hotels after Hurricane Katrina, on-site planning and execution of security at 17 hotels in London, including the Olympic Committee Headquarters and implementing a global risk assessment tool for 6000 hotels in 110 countries.
He is also a Senior Advisor to the US State Department’s Overseas Advisory Council, a former committee member of the FBI’s Domestic Security Alliance Council, and past chairman of the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s - Loss Prevention Committee. Paul has also been retained as an expert witness in premises liability cases.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and holds certifications as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from the American Society of Industrial Security and Certified Lodging Security Director (CLSD) from the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
